Spiritual Life Learning Series

The Spiritual Life Learning series is intended to give you actual practices by which you can engage God's spirit within you. SLL draws upon spiritual traditions along with up-to-the-minute scientific data to build a strong relationship between body, mind and spirit.

Examples of spiritual practices that we will explore include various forms of prayer and meditation, methods and reasons for fasting, charitable works, study and silence. Benefits include: stress management and reduction, mindfulness, increased compassion - love of God, self and neighbor!

Are you looking for fun new ways to integrate farm fresh vegetables into school lunches? Join Powisset Cooks! in the field for a short look at the farm in Winter followed by an exciting hands-on exploration in the kitchen with our Culinary Educator. You will create treats for the lunch box that parents and children will enjoy making and eating. Potential vegetable highlights for this month: sweet potatoes, rutabaga or radishes. We recommend a one to one ratio of parents to children for this class to ensure everyone's safety. Ages 6 and up are welcome. Limited to 12 participants, so sign up quickly!
